Challenges being encountered with JAIP Health cards

It has been brought to the attention of the ASAJ office and the Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport (MCGES) that persons are having challenges using the Jamaica Athletes Insurance Programme health card. The MCGES has assured that they are working with the Insurer to have the matter resolved in the shortest possible time.

In the meantime they are asking that persons pay in full and ensure they receive the following:

• Original Receipt (signed and stamped by the Dr.), evidencing payment; and
• Claim form signed and stamped by the Dr., listing the diagnosis and exactly what was done.

You are being asked to submit these to the MCGES for the attention of Michelle Napier or to the ASAJ office for submission to the Ministry.
