Jamaica increases medal tally to three on day 2 of the UANA Cup Swimming Champs

Two more bronze medals were won by Emily MacDonald and Nicholas Vale while Jesse Marsh achieved Youth Olympic Games B Standard times in two races.

Jamaica increased its medal count to three on day 2 of the UANA Cup when Emily MacDonald won Bronze in the 13-14 100m butterfly and Nicholas Vale did the same in the 15 - 17 400m Individual Medley.

MacDonald's time of 1:05.86 was a new national age group record breaking her old record of 1:06.19 which she set last year. 

Nicholas Vale's time of 4:56.85 made him the first Jamaican male to win a medal at the Meet. 

Jesse Marsh achieved Youth Olympic Games B Standard times when he swam personal bests of 57.22 in the 100m butterfly and 2:09.39 in the 200m butterfly.
