Jamaica's performance on day one of UANA Cup Swimming Champs

Jamaica's performance at day one of the UANA Cup was highlighted by Emily MacDonald's bronze medal in the 13 - 14 50m freestyle. Gabrianna Banks just missed out on a medal when she placed 4th in the 15 - 17 50m Freestyle with a time of 27:31.

The 15 - 17 girls team of Brianna Anderson, Gabrianna Banks, Annabella Lyn and Naomi Eaton set a new national record of 2:09.56 erasing the old record of 2:13.54 set back in 1997.
